People often ask me how I came to the gift of seeing energy. I don’t really remember a time when I didn’t but my suspicion is that it would have been around 2 years of age. I spent most of my early years living with a family that were not my own. In fact, I have very limited memory of my biological family up until I was of school age. And yes, I did grow up with abandonment issues.

For me, seeing/sensing was normal. I thought that this was how the world looked to everyone and was always surprised when other people didn’t sense things the way I did. It was a great survival technique in what was at times, a very difficult journey through my early years through to my adult life.

The first thing that stuck out for me was that I could tell when people were either going to fall pregnant or were very early pregnant. Sometimes this was even before a positive test. I can’t really explain how I saw it but it was a bit like a little soul beside the person. I personally had a history of miscarriage and stillbirth. Sadly, I knew that my stillborn child would not survive right through the pregnancy. Sometimes this gift is a hard pill to swallow.

In 2006 I became critically ill and while I did survive, was still struggling with the after-effects of the illness and the powerful antibiotics used to treat me. I was referred to Carmel Bell, a medical intuitive, by my GP and know without a doubt, that had this not happened, I would likely not have survived.

Thanks to the medical intuitive, I made a full and rapid recovery and was so inspired by how she worked that I asked if I could train with her. In 2009, I commenced training and my life changed in a way I had never considered. I finally understood what my gift of seeing/feeling meant and learned to use it to identify issues in and around the human body. I continue my training and mentorship with Carmel for some years and have been practicing medical intuition since 2010.
